With articulated heads, torsos with brass going-barrel movements driving bellows, whistles and cams. 1) De- picting a nonchalant drunkard leaning against the post of a battery-operated street lantern, no. 474, mechanism stuck, height 19 3⁄4 in., with key. – And: 2) Whistler with Black Forest clock, no. 291, missing back door, leaking bellows, height 17 1⁄4 in.

Numbered in pencil "468", depicting a nonchalant drunkard leaning against the post of a battery-operated street lantern, figure with carved bone head (articu- lated), hand, buttons, knee and toe, his torso with brass going-barrel movement, stamped "Germany", driving bellows, whistle and cam for the head, height 17 3⁄4 in. (45 cm), with bird-form key, lantern untested. A nicely- detailed and unusual earlier model by Griesbaum, in working order.
