Germany, Santa with attractively-modeled composition head, original paint, sheepskin wig and beard and tradi- tional red festive costume, furry mohair-covered rein- deer with glass eyes, antlers and decorated felt saddle, with two separate key-wind clockwork mechanisms (for Santa and reindeer) causing the figures to nod, length 23 in. (59 cm) x height 20 1⁄2 in. (52 cm), with key, split on Santa's nose, otherwise in bright, original condition. A particularly charming example of this rare animated Christmas advertising figure.
