Hersteller: "Bruno Rückert, Leipzig", für Blechplatten Ø 41,2 cm, 3-teiliger Stahlkamm mit 82 Tönen (kom- plett), 2 Baßkämme, Hauptkamm und Diskantkamm, vernickelter Federwerkmotor, Nußbaumgehäuse, 2 Musivgold-Griffe, geschnitzter Orphenion-Schriftzug im Deckel, Maße 70 x 51 x 30 cm, mit 12 Platten. Gut spielender Zustand. – Orphenion-Spieldosen sind sehr selten, sie unterscheiden sich außerdem deutlich im Klang von Instrumenten anderer Hersteller.
Manufactured by "Bruno Rückert, Leipzig", for 16 1⁄4 in. discs, 82 teeth in three-piece comb (complete), 2 alter- nate-strike bass combs (one above and one beneath the bedplate), principal comb and treble comb, nickeled visible spring motor, walnut case with carved colums and ormolu handles, carved Orphenion lettering in lid, ebonized sounding boards with gilt ornaments, overall size 27 1⁄2 x 20 x 12 in., with 12 discs. Good playing condition. – Orphenion boxes are very rare today, they are well made and have a sound quite different from other makers.
