No. 19160, playing twelve airs (two-per-turn), with coin-activated direct-drive spring (on old English pen- ny), manual override, comb with 62 teeth (complete), zither, tune-sheet and upright walnut-veneered case with coin-drawer, storage-drawer and transfer- decorated double-doors, wd. 16 1⁄2 in. (42 cm) x ht. 19 in. (48 cm), cylinder 6 3⁄4 in. (17 cm), with crank-key, coin-drawer slightly bowed. Rare 'buffet' format, in excellent original playing condition!

No. 20941, bedplate stamped "IT", playing "Yankee Doodle" and "There's More Luck About the House", with 14 groups of 5 teeth in comb (complete), tune-sheet and pressed composition case with lid, titled "Mon Corporal J'nai Pu Avoir Que Ca! ...", depicting officer holding a bird cage, wd. 3 1⁄2 in. (9 cm), with key, attrac- tive arrangements with piccolo effect, a couple of damper squeaks, back of case lid repaired.

Sainte-Suzanne, Frankreich, Nr. 2761/9230, große Mes- singwalze mit 24 Melodien (jeweils 2 bei einer Umdre- hung), Walzenbreite 46,5 cm, Ø 8,5 cm, 88 Töne in 2 Stahlkämmen (komplett), Messing-Unterlegscheiben, starker Federmotor mit Ratschenaufzug, Geschwindig- keitsregler mit 4 Flügeln, imposantes Holzgehäuse mit Ebenholzfurnier, Buchsbaum-Bandintarsien und groß- flächige Blumen-Intarsien auf Seiten, Front und Deckel, Gehäusebreite 76 cm. Einige Dämpfer mit Nebengeräu- schen, ansonsten in gutem restauriertem Zustand.
Sainte-Suzanne, France, No. 2761/9230, playing 24 popular, operative and dance airs on 12 rotations of the cylinder, with 88 teeth in two combs (complete), brass comb-washers, massive lever-wound spring and four- blade compensated governor, in impressive ebony- veneered case with red interior, tune-sheet, boxwood stringing and extensive floral inlay on front, sides and lid, width 30 in. (76 cm), cylinder 18 1⁄4 in. (46,5 cm) x 3 1⁄4 in. (8,5 cm) diameter. Couple of minor damper squeaks, but overall movement and case in good re- stored condition. Unusually, this movement carries two serial numbers and the tune-sheet is additionally num- bered 2397. According to H.A.V. Bulleid's research in "Musical Box Tune Sheets", the L'Epée factory reset its serial numbers to "1" in c. 1880, making movement 2761 a relatively early production within the first years of the new batch.
Decorated with flowers, birds and silver relief on the lid, 12 in. (30 cm) wide. Excellent playing condition!

Walzenbreite 33 cm, Brettchen neben Aufzugshebel fehlt. Ein schö- nes Beispiel für die Sublime-Harmony-Piccolo- Ausführung, gut restaurierter und spielender Zu- stand!
No. 39931, playing six popular airs including "The Mikado" by Sullivan, Gamme No. 66, with 35 teeth in piccolo comb and 87 teeth in chevron-shaped principal comb (both combs complete), tune-sheet and grained case with inlaid rosewood-veneered lid, width 22 in. (56 cm), cylinder 13 in. (33 cm), missing left case divider. Mechanism in good restored playing condition. A superior example of the sublime harmony piccolo format.
