Holzkamera für nasses Collodium-Verfahren. Die Sen- sibilisierung der Platte erfolgt im Kamerainneren. Die Platte wird durch Federdruck an eine Gummiabdichtung gedrückt. Die erforderlichen Chemikalien wurden – wie bei der bisher bekannten Dubroni – mit einem seitlich angebrachten, in einem ca. um 90° nach oben abgewin- kelten Gummischlauch eingefüllt und nach der erfolgten Belichtung wieder nach unten abgelassen. Aufnahme- format: 9,5 x 10,5 cm. Das runde Fenster der Kamera- rückwand diente der Fokussierung über Mattscheibe (fehlt). Messing-Objektiv "Hermagis Opticien/Fabri- cant. Paris", Nr. 14668. – Herkunft: Sammlung Dr. Rameaux, Paris. – Ein spektakuläres Museumssamm- lungsstück! Nur 2 x weltweit bekannt!

Wooden box camera for wet collodion process. The preparation of the plate took place inside the camera. The plate was pressed against a rubber seal by a metal spring clip. The chemicals entered – Dubroni-like – the camera through a rubber tube at the side and after use were released downwards in the same way. The tube was held in position by a metal spring clip. Size: 9,5 x 10,5 cm. The circular window in the camera back was used for focusing through a ground glass screen (miss- ing). Equipped with a "Hermagis Opticien/Fabricant, Paris" lens, no. 14668. – Provenance: Collection Dr. Rameaux, Paris. – A spectacularly rare museum piece. Not mentioned in any literature. Only two examples known worldwide!
