Nr. 14903, übergroße Walze mit 6 Opernmelodien, 132 Töne im Stahlkamm (komplett), einstellbarer Windflü- gel, auf dem Lager geprägt mit "BAB", Original- Melodienblatt, mit Rosenholz furniertes Gehäuse, Mar- keterien auf Front und Deckel. Gehäusebreite 66 cm, Zylinderbreite 36 cm, Durchmesser 8,4 cm. Das Reper- toire beinhaltet folgende Titel: "March of the King Louis XIII", "Fra Diavolo, Motifs de l'Opéra" von Au- ber, "Une Nuit à Grenade, Ouverture" von Kreutzer, "Stradella, Motifs de l'Opéra" von Flotow, "Le Barbier de Seville, Motifs de l'Opéra" von Rossini und "The Wedding March" von Mendelssohn. – "Une Nuit à Grenade" (Das Nachtlager in Granada) ist eine Oper in 2 Akten von Conradin Kreutzer. Diese 1834 in Wien uraufgeführte Oper ist selten bei mechanischen Musik- instrumenten zu hören. – Diese Spieluhr beinhaltet einige außergewöhnliche Arrangements bei nicht ganz 1 3⁄4 Minuten pro Umdrehung. Die Mechanik befindet sich in exzellent restauriertem Zustand!

No. 14903, playing one overture and five airs on 'fat cylinder', with 132 teeth in comb (complete), "BAB" stamp on governor-cock, compensated governor, tune- sheet and rosewood-veneered case with marquetry inlaid front and lid, wd. 26 in. (66 cm), cylinder 14 in. (36 cm) x 3 1⁄4 in. (8,4 cm) diameter. Repertoire: "March of the King Louis XIII", "Fra Diavolo, Motifs de l'Opé- ra" by Auber,"Une Nuit à Grenade, Ouverture" by Kreutzer, "Stradella, Motifs de l'Opéra" by Flotow, "Le Barbier de Seville, Motifs de l'Opéra" by Rossini and "The Wedding March" by Mendelssohn. – "Une Nuit à Grenade" (The Night Camp in Granada) is a two-act romantic opera by Conradin Kreutzer, first performed in 1834 in Vienna. The opera is rarely found in me- chanical music. – This musical box features some su- perb arrangements of just under 1 3⁄4 minutes per revo- lution. The movement is in excellent restored playing condition!

Swiss musical box playing 6 tunes, with drum, spiral gong and zither attachment, 3-part comb: 10 drum teeth, 3 gong teeth, 98 music teeth and 34 zither teeth (1 tip defective), brass bedplate, walnut case with end flap, red1 interior and instant-stop, 19 1/3 in. wide, cylinder 12 /3 in., good optical condition, motor does not run. An unusual early format!

1) Two-air sectional-comb movement, No. 8278, bed- plate stamped "CM", with teeth in groups of five, in burr-elm-veneered sewing necessaire (without tools and tray), 9 3⁄4 in. (25 cm), good playing condition despite a few damper squeaks, no key. – And: 2) Two-air sec- tional-comb movement, No. 10009, with teeth in groups of seven, inoperative, no key.

Nr. 2559, 4 Melodien. 100 Töne angeordnet in 25 Gruppen zu je 4 Einzeltönen (komplett), Baßtöne auf der rechten Seite, Messing-Bodenplatte, Sofortstopphe- bel, Ratschenaufzug ergänzt, in zeitgenössischem Wur- zelholzgehäuse, Gehäusebreite 39 cm, Walzenbreite 21,4 cm. Dabei ein Teil des früheren Auslöse- Mechanismus. Exzellent spielender Zustand!
No. 2559, playing four airs, with 100 teeth in 25 groups of 4 (complete), bass teeth on the right, brass bedplate, shaped governor-cock, instant-stop control, now with winding lever and old (but not original) burr-wood case, width 15 1⁄2 in. (39 cm), cylinder 8 1⁄4 in. (21,4 cm). Included in the lot is a part of an earlier activation mechanism. Movement in excellent playing condition. – (2/2) – € 2.000/3.500 – (981/269)
