No. 45547, playing twelve hymns and oratorio ar- rangements, including three pieces from the "Messiah" by Handel, "Heavens are Telling" from "Creation" by Haydn and "O Rest in the Lord" from "Elijah" by Mendelssohn, Gamme no. 1771, with 128 teeth in comb (complete), reeded brass bedplate, brass control panel, instant-stop, tune-sheet for London agent Wales & McCulloch, attractively figured veneered case with red interior, kingwood banding and equestrian inlay on the lid, wd. 21 3⁄4 in. (55,5 cm), cylinder 12 x 3 1⁄4 in. diame- ter (31 x 8 cm), lid slightly bleached, good restored playing condition. A musical box with fine arrange- ments and resonance.

Das Spielwerk befindet sich in gut re- stauriertem und spielendem Zustand. Eine Walzen- spieldose mit guten Arrangements und anspruchsvollem Opern-Programm.

No. 41248, playing twelve operatic airs by Bellini, Weber, Meyerbeer and Donizetti, with 128 teeth (complete, four/five neatly replaced bass tips), brass bedplate, brass control panel, instant-stop, walnut case with red interior, tune-sheet and attractively figured veneered lid with floral inlay, wd. 21 3⁄4 in. (55 cm), cylinder 12 1/8 x 3 1/8 in. diame- ter (31 x 8 cm). Movement in good restored playing condi- tion. – Titles include airs from "Somnambula", "Puritani", "Freyschutz", "Robert le Diable" and three from "Norma". A well-arranged musical box with an ambitious operatic program.
