Switzerland, with bisque head and hands, wide-winged collar, striped jacket and felt hat, sitting with paint box before a miniature version of Rubens' "Leda and the Swan", the two-air cylinder movement by Reuge caus- ing the artist to turn and nod his head, swing his left leg, move the pallet in his left hand and imitate brushstrokes with his right, height 13 in. (33 cm). Charming automa- ton portrait of Dutch baroque painter Sir Peter Paul Rubens (1577–1640), in excellent working condition.

Switzerland, with bisque character head modeled as a smiling clown with top hat, balancing on ladder on velvet-covered base, the two-air cylinder movement by Reuge causing acrobat to perform a handstand, fork his legs and raise his right hand with a bunch of flowers as the ladder sways, height 15 1⁄2 in. (38 cm), 19 in. (48 cm) raised. A particularly ingenious contemporary automaton, in excellent working condition!

538: Musik-Puppenautomat "Der Drehorgelspieler" € 600,-
Charakterkopf aus Masse, bewegliche Augen und Hän- de, hinter einem Wagen mit Drehorgel auf einem Podest stehend, Gesamthöhe 86 cm. Antrieb durch Elektromo- tor. Der Orgelspieler dreht seinen Kopf und nickt, wen- det seinen Blick zu beiden Seiten, offeriert mit der lin- ken Hand einen Strauß Blumen, während er mit der rechten die Orgel dreht. Die Orgel ist mit Kassettenre- korder und Lautsprecher ausgestattet und spielt Drehor- gelmusik. Bestens geeignet für Schaufenster, Museen oder private Sammlungen.
With composition character head, articulated eyes and hands, standing behind model barrel organ on cart, on velvet-covered wood base, height 34 in. (86 cm). The electric motor causes the figure to turn and nod his head, glance from left to right proffer flowers with his left hand and "crank" the organ with his right. The barrel organ itself contains a tape recorder, loud- speaker and appropriate recording of organ music. An excellent demonstration piece for a museum or inter- active mechanical music collection!

Auf samtbezogenem Sockel mit Federwerkmotor, Mechanik und Schweizer Reuge-Walzenspielwerk mit 2 Melodien. Der Akrobat vollführt einen Handstand, spreizt seine Beine und bewegt seine rechte Hand mit einem Blu- menstrauß in Richtung Publikum, während die Leiter nach vorne schwankt. Gesamthöhe bei Handstand 48 cm. Ein genial konstruierter, zeitgenössischer Auto- mat in exzellent funktionierendem Zustand!

Papiermaché-Kopf, blaue Glasaugen, geschnitzte Glie- der, Kostüm aus Seide und Samt, im Schneidersitz auf einem niedrigen Tisch, in der Hand ein gestreiftes Sei- dentuch haltend, Nadel und Faden in der anderen, auf schwarz lackiertem Holzsockel, Federwerk mit Faden- aufzug, Walzenspielwerk für 2 Melodien und Mechanik mit 3 Nockenscheiben. Der Schneider dreht seinen Kopf, nickt und bewegt seine rechte Hand, als würde er nähen, Höhe 30 cm, mit Glasdom 38 cm. In gut funk- tionierendem Zustand.
